It takes a strong and patient person to relay instructions over the phone to an inexperienced PC user. The rest of us can use remote control applications to make our lives easier. imPcRemote comes as two executables, which are downloaded separately. One of the executables is for the host and the other for the client. The application is free for both personal and professional use. Buying a license is necessary only if you wish to customize it.

When launched, the host module will display a compact window with a unique ID on it and a button for generating a new one. The client module has a similar interface, but instead of showing an ID, it displays an input field, in which you have to type in the host's ID. Once you insert a valid ID and click the "Connect" button, the application will establish a connection in under a minute, without any further user input. It's as simple as that.

Once a connection is established, the host's desktop will show up on a large window, on the client side. You may control the host's desktop as if you were siting right in front of it. A series of options are available on the remote control window, which allow you to send keyboard combinations to the host, exchange files, and more.

As previously mentioned, the software doesn't require any kind of configurations. Everything is done automatically, according to the recommendations for an optimal and secure connection. Of course, you can make a few adjustments if you want to balance quality and performance, while you are connected to a remote host.
